:D I think you all must be just a touch :nuts:. 12, 13, 17, 19, 26 games, geez between work, kids, sport, I can hardly manage to stay on top of 4 games at a time. Let alone my tiny brain remembering all the different tactics I would be planning for each game, with said tactics never working very well anyway. :laugh:

Tactics? You mean I should be using things like tactics??? Who's got time for tactics, I just use the same tactics for all my games. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.....okay, most of the time it doesn't work but I do have fun.

I don't spend much time planning either. I just shoot from the hip and have fun. When I have tried to get analytical, I tend to second guess myself. I just follow a few basic principles and let 'er rip.

Argh so thats what I've been doing wrong all this time.
I'm just about to play a turn in one of my games and they had better watch out because this turn I am just going to 'let it rip'.

Nope Arck -- it was the 6 turn scenario with almost no flexibility, room for maneuver... :D


For runn and gun... now I am not sure how this plays for the Poms -but Alamein's Around the Horn scenario has a lot of maneuvering and is pretty side open for an 8 turn game .... if you like running tank battles- and trying to get as many of your guys off map as possible (for the Axis) -plus the odd fortified position assault by an Italian armoured division; trying to hold/delay as the Poms- and stuff the ITalians as the Free French...

:laugh: Hey Trauth116, I was actually referring to my ACW games even though in the PZC site. I assumed the guys with all the games going are playing PZC, ACW, Napoleonic to make up the large # of games.

Actually I recall that you'd mentioned something like that earlier -about not knowing how some people juggle PBEMs- and I forgot to respond to it - but I agree -4 must be about my limit... I sorta like to get into the subject matter and find that too many different situations are - a little too all over the place, so to speak, for that to happen for me.

There was one time that I said... "nope never"... games have a way that they just keep adding to themselves.

Anyway, yeah, my rather silly list is made up of games across all the various engines... ACW, EAW, NAP, PzC and SB

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've had times where had some holidays or period of late shifts at work etc and taken on couple of extra games. Then realised I actually have too many games going, current ones playing have come to an end. Thing is I have yet to come across someone I haven't enjoyed playing against and when they say how about another I find it very difficult to say no. Got to a point a few mnths ago decided was just going to have to say no as had to reduce the games.
