DoubleDeuce, Comrades,
I reorganized the OOB to fit into the operational plans we discussed earlier. Please review DD for compliance with the rules, and Comrades, if I made something not good for us.
NOTE! I did not add or delete any of the units, just moved them to a new place if it was needed.

Changes:
-BTR and tank regiment ATGM companies merged with BMP reg ATGM company and formed the 5th battalion (coys organized)
-HQ ATGM bn coys organized
-Regimwntal Artillery battalions moved to HQ.
-All engineers moved to HQ eng battalion (coys organized)
-Took away the SA9Gaskin SAMs and added to the general ADA inventory together with the 2 Hungarian SA-9 Gaskins. Took the 4 Sylkas from BMP reg and added to ADA inventory.
-Created 2 airbmobile recce battalions from the RPG teams, saggers and RCLs of BTR and BMP regiment (NOTE! I only took the inf units vechicles remained!)
-BMP reg recon co moved to tank reg recon co. HQ recon co moved to BMP regiment. This way the BMP reg has it's recon co as it had before but has BRDM2s instead of BTM-1s. The tank regiment got a BRM-1 recon company.

Not too much just took away 2xSA-9 Gaskin and added them to the ADA inventory.

Are you not taking my Shilkas and ZSU-57-2 "Büszke" SPAA guns? Especially the latter could be abstracted, although it is not very effective, lacking radar.

Are you not taking my Shilkas and ZSU-57-2 "Büszke" SPAA guns? Especially the latter could be abstracted, although it is not very effective, lacking radar.
Very good question, forgot about their range. I suggest you to deploy behind the front at the edge of the map to covet that one side hex the SA9s cannot reach.

Yes you are assigned to the BMP regiment. Vesku is your Regimental co. You will get one of the battalions most probably.

You are getting a battalion or two (out of five), depends on the situation. We'll see how it's going and adjust to the situation.

ARTUR - I have updated the OFFICIAL OOB threads to reflect the changes you posted. I have not done the Soviets yet so they are still the original BUT the other 2 (Hungarian and East German) as well as the ADA should be accurate.

I changed only a little: I took 2 SA-9 and 2 ZSU-23 from the Hungarians and gave to the ADA regiment. Made 3 batteries of SA-9 instead of 2.

Here is my last OOB change proposal.

NOTE: Anytime national units are mixed I'll need to ID them as different from the host nation OOB. I identified the Hungarian ADA units that way in the WP ADA Assets thread (http://www.strategyzoneonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36276).

We have noticed something in training battles: BTR-50 is not capable to carry 120mm Hungarian mortars, while their purpose is to do so. So my proposal would be the following - either change carry capacity to allow so, or substitute them with MT-LB carriers. They are almost the same in this game, so we would not gain anything, just a functioning setup.

I installed the WG patch from Sharpnel forums (they said that it corrects some mistakes that appeared again in v2.5 by some mistake, so it seems like OFFICIAL patch), and I noticed that Leo2A1 has NO TI - until 1987 I think. So what about it, are WG going to have TI or not?

Hope with stick to the OOB...The official Campaign version will be using the WG OOB Patch from Shrapnel.
I switched the 2S3's to 2S3M's. See the 4th BN OOB of the Soviets.
That's nice, but if you look in this thread, I made quite a bit of reorganization with the Soviet forces. They are not introduced in the official OOB. See engineers, Airmobile recce co's and the three regiments reorganized quite a bit.

I would like to take 9 strelas from the Hungarians and add them to the forward recon companies, 3 to each of the companies.
4 strelas would be taken from the 1st mech inf battalion 1st co.
4 strelas would be taken from the 2nd mech inf battalion 1st co.
1 strela will be taken from the HQ.
Sorry for the late change but we need them. those training battles can tell some things in advance ;).

I wish to take

.........x3 UAZ Jeep
from every BTR battalion (3) and add them to every BMP battalion(). That means 9 SA-7s and 9 UAZ jeeps will move from one regiment to another regiment.
The BTR regiment has ZSU battery but the BMP regiment will make a better use of MANPADS.

I just found an error in the Soviet OOB. The first airmobile bn has Saggers not Recoiless! (They were taken from the BMP and BTR regiment.)

Not exactly.
there are 2 Airmobile recce battalions. Only one has saggers the other has Recolilesses. One battalion has 12 Saggers the other 12 Recoilesses.
Of course we will be happy with the extra saggers of coutse :).

How does it affect offboard arty if we move ammo carriers to frontline units? I'd really like to have ammo trucks for my helos in tactical battles.

How does it affect offboard arty if we move ammo carriers to frontline units? I'd really like to have ammo trucks for my helos in tactical battles.It wouldn't really unless they get eliminated. They might be needed should the arty unit end up as an on-board arty unit further down the road.
Cam, can you move some ammo trucks to the regiments? When the guns end up being on board we have already lost.
