Separate Cmbb/bo ladders needed?

I just challenged Waleed to a cmbb game and was disappointed when he replied that he only plays cmbo.
I could be wrong,but I think the two games are so different that maybe they ought to have separate ladders,what do other people think?
The fact is,cmbb is far more polished and advanced than bo and is almost an entirely different game :confused:

I own both versions of the game and have just joined the site but have yet to play a ladder game (hint hint).

My own personal preference would be to have a separate ladder for CMBO & CMBB instead of bundling them into one. After all, nearly every aspect of war on the Eastern Front was entirely different to that on the Western Front.

but it wouldnt matter to me if all [cmbo, cmbb,cmak] where joined in a single ladder a tactical victory still is a tactical victory, isnt it?

I feel that where the technology exists to make the ranking system more balanced then we may as well use it?

Maybe a bit more balanced to fit each members games that they play. But just how much additional work would be rquired of the person that has the job of taking care of the ladders rankings? That may triple their workload :(

That person would be me and indeed it would triple my work load! :(

The poll we ran on this question was overwhelming in favor of keeping one combined ladder. :)

And I'm not sure why a seperate ladder is in question; BO/BB are basically the same tactical games no matter which front they cover, as will be CMAK I'm sure :ar15:

Single ladder. Combat mission by any other name is still combat mission.
Besides thats whats fun about the ladder, you have vets up there that have been playing since day one. I'm sure they would want to keep their score total.
