super, I'll let you chose sides (I am not a very good player, so I have no preference).

do you have the file? do you have the modified -exe? (you need the modern.exe engine to play it) if yes, chose sides and we begin.

I have the file and exe, flipped a coin, and will take Taiwan, so if you want to start, send a turn. I am not a very good player either. Send to scotalexander@charter.net

Just as a general comment for next time. Rather than chancing the spiders timing either use the forums private messaging system, or munge your email in a way they won't be able to decipher. Anyone here should be able to figure out Dan.NeelyNorm@KogerGmail.com without any trouble. As far as the spiders are concerned it might as well not exist

- cruise and balistic missiles strike airfields - about hundred aircraft are reported destroyed.
- Chinese ships are sighted on radar screens, while hundred of planes fly towards the island to attempt to gain air superiority.
- Chinese naval aircraft launch a strike on Hainan Harbour against Taiwan navy at anchor and heavy losses are reported on both sides
- In the Taiwan straits, huge losses in ships are also reported as naval forces clash
- chinese marines, transported by fast air-cushion ships storm ashore in the North and in the South of the island while more landing ships are sighted off the coastline

Turn 2

Still during the night, Chinese second wave forces land on Taiwan. China's airborne Corps' s second parachute division extends the landings zones around Taipei while the two divisions landed by ships start their deployment in and around Taipei - the center of which is secured. Rumors of executions of political activists spread, while a terrorised population stays home for the moment.

Chinese naval recon has also sighted an US Carrier battle group before beeing bouced by it's CAP. An attack by 10 Tu-95 Bear (in their Chinese version) is repelled with loss of all bombers and some of the Su-35 escorts.

Chinese 2nd artillery corps - now low on ammmo - cheers to the satellite reports that show that Taiwan's air force has been virtually annihilated by their first strike of over 300 missiles on Taiwan airfields and bunkers.

Chinese Navy and air forces assume now defensive positions to counter US air force strikes to be expected soon in retaliation of China's surprise attack. J-7 and J-8 fighters scramble at bizarre radar sightings perhaps meaning B-2 and F-117 approaching!
