This scenario needs playtesting...

E-mail me if you would like to playtest the scenario...Some action between your PBEMs!!

Title: Circled
Date: 5 May 1942
Type: Allied defense (Fictional)
Region: South
Weather: Fog and Rain, Windy
Terrain: Damp, Rural, Village
Turns: 25 + (variable)

Note: This scenario is designed to be played as Russian
versus AI. You will get two completely different games
from this scenario, playing first with Default setting,
and then playing with the AI Free to Setup.

General Briefing:

The Germans are attacking now in overwhelming strength.
The Russians try to choose the best ground they can to
delay the German onslaught, buying time for the defense of
their cities. The Soviet T-34 remains the king of the
battlefield, but the Germans have become more skillful
deploying their armor on attack and their infantry are now
armed with the panzerfaust.

Just played it and it's FABULOUS :D
One of the best scens I've seen, with multiple deployment options that'll make every game totally different and fresh, and give it a very long shelf life.
I won easily against the AI but then who wouldn't,so my only suggestion is beef up the attacking Jerries a bit,
Screenshots are on their way to you Michael

You think any level of player will beat AI? I know you are little more advanced?

BTW, How long did it take you to play?

Cannot wait to see your screenies!!

Thanks!

I might be able to give it a shot in the next couple of days.

Michael,The AI might give noobs a rough handling, but any medium player should be able to slug it out on an even footing.
Fiendishly conniving as always,I never diluted my defending Russkis by stringing them out around the perimeter, but pulled most of them in to form a hard central core around the big flag, then mercilessly cut down Jerry as he tried to get to the core.

PS-It only took me about 90 minutes to play its 25+turns,I'd forgotten how quick it is to play against the AI rather than pbems, and once I'd started I couldn't stop,it was that enjoyable!

I've playtested this scenario about five times and got a different game every time. Reminds me of Wild Bill Wilder's CMBO scenario "Wiltz" in terms of replayability and fun. Good job, Mike.
