OK, I have a small dilemma here, not very important...

Hmmm, there is many div HQ in fite and I know that support squads by manual have impact on ressuply of units...

But, now that corps HQ and other above corps HQ are not so important (before corps HQ had at least some arty) now I am in dilemma to not move them at all.

In fact almost all those corps don't have anyone directly under their command but I guess that "behind" they have unit's under their command?

I am also puzzled by support squads in German HQ's... if you move corps or army hq too much, hq will "lost" some of it's support squads - let's say from 80 % supply in formation pane it will go to 72 or 76%.

Not big deal but does it affects all unit's unders command of this HQ... Yes you can see in OOB what is range of units under this command - if it is actually??? hehe, but this is one of weaknes of TOAW as you cannot see easily this...

So if those support squads goes TEMPORARILY in on hand pool, doe this temp. missing of support squads WILL affect unit's in the map or ???
For example AGC is moved and it "loses" some of it's support suads, will this affect ressuply???

Thanks for answer... maybe trivial thing, but TOAW under the hood for sure ;)

The number of support squads in an HQ only affects the formation supply of that HQ's formation. HQs in one formation can't affect other formations' supply levels, even if those HQ's are designated as Corps, Army, or Army Group level. The game has no mechanism to model any subordination of formations.

If you leave such HQs in the rear, you will only be denying yourself the one benefit they can provide: increasing supply of cooperative adjacent units by 50%.

You are correct that moving an HQ may cause some support squads to straggle to the pools, and this will temporarily somewhat decrease that HQ's formation's supply the following turn. But that doesn't justify leaving your HQs in the rear.

Thanks Bob, that cleared this up, just one thing...

By increasing supply to cooperative level you of course think about only those unit's that are in HQ formation? (old rule) As they have no unit's in their formation they cannot provide resupply to anyone? Soren mentioned something that they can provide additional supply on unit's of my choosing as they are on free support (?????) - that would be useful.

Well, this was strange to me because now almost all of those HQ's have no purpose at all - yes they can guard partisans maybe, or defend some port etc...or just be in the rear, but they are uselless and that's why those support squads as well.

As Toaw is nowadays these HQ units (with free support formation) can even boost supply on to enemy adjacent units...

Ah, yes... and i consulted a manual, yes Bob is right, if I understood that good even those HQ's can help to unit's to get better resuply - hmm, since they are on free support... That is also OK.

LOL

My special plan is already in motion, and few other special plans :whist:

Argh, only 70% left after my first attack, but 2000 smoking planes on Russian airfields... stalinist forces were caught unprepared and Stalin didn't wanted to provoke us, hah, now they will pay dearly for this mistake... :devious:

You will get turn tomorrow evening.

Don't send turn quite yet, I am in a communist-overstrong_dislike-frenzy at the moment, wouldn't be fair. Wait a few days until I can appreciate the wisdom of Lenin et al (what drug would that require?). What Pavlov, we have so many Pavlovs... :D

Hehe, Soviet Union is really powerful starte, by 1937. they had 15000 tanks and have been producing 3000 a year... so all those big countries have been giving a most natural drug to their leaders and that is - adrenaline - which if man is smart can cool his head as well but have a side effect, the leaders fall in love in themseves. :halo:

Don't worry, I will not send you a turn yet, I will listen to Deutschland Uber Alles for a few days and will send you a turn haha  (just jokin')

I must go to buy groceries with my PanzerKampfwagen II.

I do like the Communist International, apart from the lyrics. But, how many countries can claim a master like Haydn for their national hymn?

Panzer, panzer, über alles, über alles in der Welt... etc

Good grocery trick there.

Heh, my favorite classical composer is Johan Sebastian Bach, but they were contemporaries I guess (Haydn and him, but they never met), Bethoven is also very good and many others - wished that I listen to it more...

I just tried to be gentle in eliminating your divisions with my clean, steril surgeon knives :) - as I said don't worry, just pray for harsh winter and Siberian troops that will come and my doom eventually

Our pilots of Ju 87 planes are also making practice for Pearl Harbour... Yes, yes, they were there, they just pretended to be Japanese

In fact in my previous game of FiTE I also attacked Russian ships in first turn. I like to deal with nasty ships in the beginning
