View Full Version : Number of Games Going?
Time for another intrusive CM poll! :devious:
How many games on average do you have going at one time? :hmmm:
Can be either BB, BO or both.

I currently have 14 going but 4 are about to end. I guess I will have to look for a couple of replacement games. I’m sure I can get “Poor Old Spike” to look for a little revenge.
That last line should read "Don't get much" not "Don't get out much" :p

Okay Gonzo I've just e-mailed you a challenge:)
For statistics nuts, that makes 34 cmbb challenges I've issued to WHQ members over the last week or so, 6 of whom accepted and 3 declined, leaving 25 dudes who've yet to reply one way or the other.
Oh,and last month I also challenged Master Goodale and his entire Waffle Thread entourage to fun games, but not a manjack of them bothered to reply.I beat him on both our previous TNT-saturated clashes earlier this year so I suppose he's run out of TNT..

Hey, hey, watch your language! I'm a dedicated Cheery Waffler and I have not been challenged by you. So if you are ready for a PBEM, just let me know. Would a probe mission in Finland ´44 (you Soviets, me Finnish) satisfy your needs? If so, I could sent you a setup.
Btw, beating MasterGoodale is like taking candy from a child...

I usaly try to keep about 10 - 12 games going I have a few more than 10 right now thow with the tournament starting but there is a couple of games that are almost finihsed I find if i have too few going I run outa action at any given time fairly fast. due to the fact that only like 3 or 4 people i am playing with will play more than one turn a day ....lol

I send you the parameters you were asking for. I go by the name of "Keke" in the Cheery Waffle -thread. Hotmail's spam filter may have blocked your challenge in the first place.

Yes, thanks to you and to the many others who have "stepped up" to set this forum on the path to being the best CM community out there.

I have 3 going and a bunch of old ones that need completion.
I am sure most of the guys moved on... But willing to finish if they want to... Just drop me an e-mail if have not... My Life is definitely getting back in order...
I like the human stuff because I add a little to my scenarios from the starnge buys these opponents use, and it gives me a chance to practice with some new troops myself. I usually stay with a historic OOB when I play but I like the challenge of computer pick for both sides because that leads to surprises too...
Plus I like to play Good AI scenarios between PBEM moves, and of course my first real love of this game is designing scenarios... I am drooling over CMAK and getting the US back into the battle...

There are no good or bad cmbb players, just experienced and inexperienced.
And as we all gain experience with each game we play,it follows that the more we play, the more expert we become.
By the same reasoning its far better to play a lot of ongoing smaller games (say 2000 pts or less) rather than just a few monsters.
I currently have 19 ladder pbems going, and have completed 3 since joining the club a couple of weeks ago :)

lol ... who am I? A dumper machine? :D
Well, but sadly, it is me who is not ready yet --- still waiting to buy the infamous CMBB ... (all I saw was CMBO as confirmed... )..

I have 9 games going right now and that is plenty. I tend to prefer the longer turn games, so no more than that for me.
