How are AAR casualty points computed?

I'm talking about the casualty points awarded in the AAR. The manual states that Captured count double, that's all. I'm not interested in the exit points, only casualties and captured.

Is it a straight purchase cost, doubled for captured men and equipment? That would take weakness and experience into account automatically.

Killed/wounded units = purchase points
captured units = double purchase points

What about crews then? How much of points do you get from crew and how much from the vehicle itself?
