Scipio, GAZ and Tripps:
Please pardon me for possible incoming delays of my turns to you. I will have laser surgery of my eyes tomorrow. It requires 3 to 6 days to recover, well, not really recover, it is supposed to bring my poor vision back to 20/20 in 6 days or so. So I think maybe after a couple of days rest, I can stare at the screen again. Yet, there definitely will be a brief period that I cannot look at the computer screen. I will also notify you guys through emails.
thanks.
:hmmm: ER does this mean that soon you'll be able to play winter battles? ;)
Just kidding my friend, best of luck with the surgery! :salute:

Hi Xuebo,
are you sure you wish to see better what I do with your troops?
Take care!
Pete
My mate had that done - took him a week to recover fully
Good luck
Dont hurt your eyes rushing back to play

GAZ, I think you are right.
It is the 5th day now ... sigh... I can still barely see ... One eye (the right eye) recovered somehow, although I still see double images. The left one is completely useless at this point. (fortunately I can still blind type... I mean, hands are fine...) With some difficulty, I read you guys' posts... (with a lot of tears :D ... as if moved ... damn this thing ... I fear my whole vacation will be just wasted by this thing now ) But I hope things will turn better in a day or two (as the doctor promised me again today... ) I will see you guys in the field soon ...
Rest up ER, this is just a game, your eyes & health are more important!
And hey- why are you reading this I said rest up!! :p

LOL ... thanks boss, I really appreciate that. :)
Well, I am stupidly reading and writing again ... not that I took them more "important" than my eyes (btw, I can read more comfortably now with all these double shadow and nonsense ... not sure if that because the eyes are improving or I am getting use to it ... Left eye is still blank.), but you cannot imagine how boring it is to sleep almost 96 hours straight... I am willing to do anything to break this "curse" .... (hint: after all those "sleeping", every and each parts of my body aches... and my brain numb, tongues tasteless, stomach turned .... )
At least, when I am reading/writing now, tears are not pouring out any more ...
OK, gentlemen, I will send out my turns to you guys later today ... (I think all of them are "movie" turns for me anyways... ) but please allow me slower paces in playing and brief or even none message with emails. :p ... THanks..
I would be going back to your specialist as ya left eye shouldnt be blank
sounds a bit funny.
You really shouldnt be using ya pc either for a while
rest your eyes up
but you cannot imagine how boring it is to sleep almost 96 hours straight...
Just depends on who you're sleeping with all that time! :p

LOL ... trust me, no mater "how" you sleep Isurely I know there are more fun ways to sleep :D ) ...but for 96 hours? nah... it stinks... whatever .. :D
GAZ: Thank you very much for your advice. I won't stare at my screen long. But just as breaks during my boring rests :D ...
The doctor did say everything is normal and the lft eye should come to its sense after "a couple of days" ... "it may turn out to be even better than the right eye", He said :p ...
Well, the reason, as he put it, is that the skin is still "rough and the wound is not completely closed yet" ... (I could see it back duing the operation, from the "bottom" up, they burned it like fried egg... well, that will take some time ... I guess...)
