I am planning on using all the scenarios submitted on the short scenario challenge in a tournament over at Blitzkrieg....Were there 8 total or was there any others I have yet to download?

I ended up renaming most all the scenarios by "2005 SZO 'whatever' so as to identify them as short scenarios...I downloaded Bob Cross' scenario but it did not load as "2005 SZO 'whatever'...what did he rename his scenario (if he did rename it)?

BTW: To Rhinobones: If out there........I hope to only use 1 scenario per designer in a tournament......Do you prefer 1 over the others.....(I will use 'Cheese Wars' otherwise)

Bob's scenario was named "Kaiserschlacht 1918"

I assume, by your other post, that you found the zipped file with the three scenarios in it.

I will steal a line from a TDG member . . .
“Cheese and wine, mostly wine.”
I take it that you found the scenarios a bit different from the usual.
‘Cheese Wars’ is balanced from the force deployment point of view, but can be tricky due to the random deployment.
‘Operation Barbaro’ should be a challenge when two equal players (with in reason) are involved. Otherwise, an accomplished player should be able to defeat a novice from either side.
‘Ohio State’ is not balanced at all. Even against the PO Ohio State has little chance of winning. Think it has potential, but needs quite a bit of work. I need to the adjustment the OOB and make this scenario more competitive.
I think both Cheese Wars and Operation Barabro are good if played once from each side. Mirrored games against different opponents. Choice is yours.
Must say thank you for even considering these scenarios for your tournament. Best of luck to the competitors.

when will we knoe the results of the contest?
note to self: hope my other scenarios don't also become reality (Taiwan, Korea) as the small one I made - unrest in France - actually happened!

The tournament will be started in Dec...I am awaiting a bit of time as a recent tournament is ending & several 'regulars' are busy with the Matrix Games/TOAW redo.........

Thanks for pointing Bob's out....It got renamed the "2005 SZO 'whatever'.
Question: When you renamed it, did you use the Windows file system or did you put it in the editor and rename it from there? The former is ok. The latter will cause it to not reference the .bmp file.

I did rename the graphic but in checking, you are right, in that it is not showing up for me....For the record, I was counting on entries being named "2005 SZO..." so as to easily find/locate&gather them in the list of scenarios for use in tournament play....I've got 9 scenarios gathered (including yours) and will anounce soon, the sign-up........Bob, I would very much like it if you could place a renamed 'LINK' that accepts your bmp on this thread (but differs to the new name '2005 SZO-Bob Cross') ....For the record: (also) most of the entries did not have a good bmp link.....Regardless, the scenarios with or without all the bells & whistles, flawed or not, was exactly what I was looking for....And, thanks BTW for contributing!

Again, did you rename the scenario in the editor or just from the Window's file system? If the former, then the bmp has to be renamed too. If the latter, you should not have renamed the bmp.
It sounds like you just renamed the scenario's file name from Windows and should have left the bmp alone. If that's the case, then just re-extract the bmp from the zip file. The bmp name has to match the scenario's name in the editor, which can differ from its file name. The scenario's name in the editor can only be changed from the editor.
