View Full Version : Happy Birthday Raver!
Happy Birthday to the Ironman of TOAW! The Borg! There's only one way to celebrate your birthday and that is with a bevy of the hottest babes on the planet, dressed in enough variety to pique your fancy for a week, and in little enough to weaken your peak for a month afterward.
Maybe then, some of the rest of us will have a chance to catch up to you... ;)

Girls?! I thought the kiwis raided sheep by the truckload.
*ducks and runs.
Hey thanks guys! And special thanks to Jam (although I cant check out my pressie from work sadly)
You'll be in good hands - they look like nurses.
Happy birthday to you all! ;)
My goodess!! The wife wont be very pleased with me consorting with all that lot! But then again she has been on at me to go to the doctor, so maybe this counts.

hey she only wants you to go to the DOCTORS! .... There is a difference there between a doc and a nurse even in Wellington, isn't it? :D
Happy Birthday, Jason!
:D (Don't forget an old man like you needs to come up for air every once in a while... ;) )

Only the ones that we export to the States. Think about that the next time you have a NZ lamb roast, and the gravy's running down your chin........
Happy Birthday Raver me old mate. I'll buy you a beer the next time we meet in the pub. A pint of dark I assume?

Oooh. Nice job old bean. I'd been working on a witty response, but I'll bow to the master here.

I've never even *seen* lamb in the store, never mind eaten any.

What, you guys don't eat mutton....? You don't know what you're missing out on (though considering what I've written above, I'd stick to US or Canadian if I was you........). Beef and pork are great, but a bit of lamb every now and then is an essential part of life. Whether it's a roast leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary, or a pile of lamb chops and a beer at a barbie, lamb is one of the best meats there is. If you ever get the chance, give it a go, you'll enjoy it.

How do the Englishspeakers write the sound that the lamb does (no dirty jokes please - but the exchange above was good :))?
In my unenlightened corner it seems to me your language must be missing a wovel... 'bä-äh'... :D

Baa baa baa
Oddly enough, there are boocoo sheep in the 'willamette valley' where I live, yet to try to buy some to eat is exorbitant! While it can be done, one would need to be a lawyer or something to even think about it, lol!
Sheep and LLamas......all over the place, and no one around here even talks about them as something to eat.
What you hear is that llamas are good guards for the sheep........and then nothing about sheep at all, exept from the 'hand-weavers', who are kind of a sub-set of 'strange people that live next to you in the valley'.
Needless to say: the city people don't hear anything about any of this, period!
I've lived around sheep all my life, and prolly dined on some once or twice.
How bizzarre!

Llamas in Oregon? It sounds about as natural as ostrich where I live, good meat but a bit uninteresting, don't care much for it. I bet you have elk in Oregon though *drools*. And they walk like John Cleese too. :)
