patches

I am looking for the patches that used to be on, I believe,this site..the update v1.04patch, the 19th century db,and the play with no cd patch. Any ideas?
Changing my computer has been great,faster speed,etc,but trying to get all my old stuff back on it has been a challenge:)

I'm new here, so greetings from Zurich, Switzerland where we are having a splendidly sunny October!

I'm really glad I found these forums allthough I have not played CoW in ages, but I'm getting excited of sorts by the recent news regarding Matrix wanting to re-release this great game (and the CS among others) and the one chap working on a clone. So I feel compelled to reinstall CoW and giving it a new lease of life. :)

Here is my question: I still have the 1.04 patch zipped file on my harddrive. Is this the latest "official" patch for CoW? Just asking because I think I also read that there was 1.06 out there and 1.07 even, but these created some sort new problems... So what version do the CoW faithfuls play nowadays? 1.04?

Welcome and howdy from the 'west'.

All things being equal, I'd stick with the 1.04a Patch until the ToaW:ME version comes out.

The 1.06 patch is flawed, see the various threads concerning same...

OR until a major thread indicates that 1.07 is up and approved...

Just about all the scenarios at the moment are still 1.04, eh?
