Is there a way to change the ammo loadout, for both freindly and enemy, artillery units while creating the scenarios? And, if so, is there a limit to the amount of rounds they can carry? I would assume there is a limit because each artillery piece can carry only so much ammo, plus whatever the ammo vehicles (M548/M992 for US) themselves can carry.

Using the ATF Power Toolkit,

1. Load the database (using "Open" from the "Database" editor)
2. Select "Edit" from the "Vehicle" sub-menu of the "Database" menu.
3. Select the artillery vehicle you want to change the ammo load out for.
4. Select the "Turret" Vehicle Capability and "Edit"
5. Select the "Indirect Fire" Vehicle capability and "Edit".
6. Save your database with a new name.

From there, you can add or remove ammo as you see fit. In real life, an M109A6 carries 38 rounds, I believe and the FAASV 76. These do not include 2 and 4 Copperhead PGM's, respectively. But check my math, there. Whatever they have right now is the correct number.

After you have completed this editing...
1. Load your scenario in the ATF Scenario Builder.
2. Select "Database" from the "Import" sub-menu of the "File" menu
3. Select your saved database.
4. Save your scenario.

That's it!

Being an artilleryman myself, you are close on your Paladin (M109A6) and CATV (M992) loadout. Though, it has been a few years since being on the Paladin. If memory serves, the gun itself can carry 33 rounds (standard rounds) and either one or two PGM's; the CATV can carry some 80 odd rounds (83 I think) and 2 or 3 PGM's (one more than what the gun can carry).

But, either way, thanks for answering. Personally I have found while playing the various scenarios (both what shipped with the CD and the two additional download/expansion missions) that the arty ammo loadout doesn't have enough of what I want. Course, not having been to actual combat (OIF or OEF) yet, I am use to the standard HE/ILLUM/SMK/WP type loadouts that we traditionally get while doing training maneuvers.

Thanks for the heads up though; now I can load up some more FASCAM and HE/DPICM and drop some of that other stuff I don't normally use for one reason or another.
