How many men were on the battlefield?

Does the "Total casualties" on the AAR include "Men Captured"?

In other words, in order to find the total number of men on the battlefield from the info on the AAR, do I need to compute "Men OK" + "Total casualties" + "Men Captured" or can I leave out the captured men?

The manual is not specific on this point.

I did a small test - bought a platoon in an enemy assault and just hit Go until I git some casualties, then surrendered.
The result was 0 OK, 2 Casualties, 45 Captured, which suggests to me that the three categories are exclusive.
I don't have a result with a mix of OK, Casualties and Captured, but it ought to be the same. I hope.
