View Full Version : Require four volunteers!

Gents, I need four experienced TOAW players as volunteers to playest some scenarios for the next tournament. We'd like to get the scenarios as balanced as possible, and that can't be done without some involvement on the part of the TOAW community. Have a wee bit of spare time, and the desire to contribute to the next round of competitive gaming here on SZO? It takes a great deal of effort to provide custom scenarios for tournaments, and any help we receive would be greatly appreciated!

C'mon boys, step up! (Even more players would be nice! ;) )

Gentlemen,

It is me who asked shane to request four volunters.
As you know we would like a flawless tournamant concerning scenario.
I would like you to test Opreation lion de mer. I did a full round with Chuck and it worked fine. But as I created the scenario, I could have played it as I would like it to be played, not as you may play it.

This version is number 1.3 I added a possibility to request more reinforcement in the middle of the game. Chuck find the coalition too weak round turn 20 facing EU reinforcemnts.

I'm ready to offer you alll information in the way to manage new units as airmobile (helicopter transported). If you can read the post I made here http://www.strategyzoneonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33758 it will give you some ideas.

same you can read Chuck AAR

Foggy could tell you that it is no more WWII strategy and tactics

so if you agree you can stress the scenario,

All your remarks about my Frenglish are welcomed. Especialy for NEWS, I may be too verbose but that is due to my French education.

I wait for your 1st comment, send me a mail for me to forward you the scenario and the attached word document, I will post in 5 mn the link and my cripted email adress,

I'm back my adress is jean-luc{dot}betin[at]magic{dot]fr

Turenne, ask Foggy to forward you ALL the files I sent him.

use the modern.exe file like it you use the opart300.exe, just double click on on it, it is a opart300 where some new airplaines have been added and most of air combat radius have modified.

Take time to read deeply the DOc file, I you need more info I posted my email on this thread. took time to look the Chuck AAR about operation lion de mer in the AAR sub-directory.

I wish both of you all best chances.

Turene and Foggy,

What would be nice, is that each 5 turnsyou publish acommon AAR in the tournament forum.

you just have to create a thread with your names plus OPLM V1.3 as title.
You will give you feeling, strategy and publish a map with great moves only.
to create such a picture is easy ask to transform your view as 3D small, create a TGA file ( it is in the file menu.) and transform it in jpg with by instance Paint shop pro 4, it is a freeware now you can get it easily on the net, when you will be there send me a mail I will explain you the last actions it is realy easy to do.

To continue
You will be vey kind, if for each turn you send me at each end of your turn the saved file for both of you. It will permit me to note values of

the Air Brieffing s with AS values ans number of planes destroyed for each side, the enemy number is always exagerated but it could help
the loss rate and supply evolution. At the end I could publish graphics with showing the evolution of those data during time.
If Larry and Karri could do the same after they contact me it will be great.

Thanks in advance

Karry,

Larry informed that he is short in time and can't give hand for tests.

I will ask for an other one, if there is no one within 4 days, I will play with you.

Thank for your patience
