WinSPMBT game

I'm looking for an opponent for my first WinSPMBT PBEM game.
NO modern battles though! I prefer a game in the late 40's or 50's. How 'bout a summer '53 NATO v WP game?

Thats an odd time period. Don't see many request for the 40-50's. Maybe someone will step forward.

I'm actually more into the ww2 simulation than the mbt part. Forties and fifties games in WinSPMBT should be a good preparation and training for WinSPWW2! :)

Personally I feel that the MBT simulation is strechting the abilties of the basic game engine. In some cases too far. Helicopters for example prove very hard to model into the game and I'm not too happy with the gunships in particular. Modern combat has become so complex, particularly in C3I matters and those are very hard to implement in the game (with its IGOUGO and 'godsview').
So I prefer MBT games of the earlier periods, although I've no objection to playing games up to the late 80's. It's just I feel 'older' games are more fun...
