Latest news from Scott:

I’m still updating the manual, and so far it’s 267 pages long. My guess is that it will be right around 300 when complete, but I’m not going to even guesstimate anymore. As I’ve been updating the manual I’ve also been scrubbing the forms to make sure they work like we want and also to make them more intuitive. Jeff has been doing general debugging and updating the message processing routines to be able to handle the latest equipment coming on-line.

We still have two known errors we can’t replicate - a floating-point error in the air movement phase and a c++ exception error in the movement/patrol mode for an aircraft. Hopefully we’ll get them in our multiple/long iteration game runs. But if you do hit one of them (or any other error), please send us you autosave.ops file (zipped).

Glad to see this project is still alive and moving along. I've put off purchasing it until its "done" but it looks like the time may soon be here. :)

I hope so, but I found some new (and old) bugs in the newest build so I guess we will see a new build again soon.

I have reported a lot of bugs and a lot of wishes. And its nice to see that some of the wishes come true and thereby making POA2 a better GAME than a simulator for the US forces.

Like most of the people here I have been on & off testing/playing POA2, but I still hope this game will be.....ehm...a game someday.

And then we need more maps.....
