Well, thought I`d get the ball rolling :)

If anyone requires a training opponent post here. These can be quick battles between players or anything else for that matter. Whilst its quite, it may be the opportunity to try a few battles.

I have slots 1 onwards currently free. Note that I have the CD version, which it seems, is not compatable with the download version-yet. This should be cured when the patch is available.

I have the download version.

I would setup a game for multiplay, but most of you guys seem way ahead of me in understanding the particular units and groups and how they function, don't get me wrong, i can play em, just that some of you have more knowledge and real world experience.

So i was hoping someone with more knowldge of those things could setup a battle and ill play them. Otherwise, you'll have to do with my interpretation of unit structures and that may not resemble the enemies or our units.

That's intresting about the incompatibility between versions. I did'nt know. I wonder if I should wait for the next CD version before ordering?

You're right though, we should kick things off.

I have slots 1 and 3 open. What kind of unit do you want to face and large of a game? Let me know what kind of force you would like to use and I'll see what it costs and set it up.

Cheers, well i don't mind being either side, so if you want practice with your team you can setup whatever. If not i will use West Germany any warsaw side similar to what we will be facing as the opponent.

Say a pzg Bn with support elements i would expect to have available in the campaign, including roughly 6 leo 2's & 6 leo 1's. Or if theres a standardised way a pzg bn operates with support that you know of just do that. Any combination is fine as its training/testing.

OK here we go. I have a very different organization for the Germans. It is triangular but with 4 BNs. That however is irrelevant. We will DD's TOE.

We'll call it 15.000 points per side. We will each have 2 air selections. You will not be restricted to WG air units.

You will command the 351 PzG BN. You are the Brigade Advanced Guard. You will command the following units:

351 PzG BN minus 1 PzG Company(sent to 354 PZ BN)

1/354 PZ BN 7 Leo1A2A1, 6 Leo 2A1

35 RECCE Company(Brigade Recon)

1/355 PzA (155) Battery.

ADA 2 Gepard 2 Roland

any left over points will be discretionary.

I cannot set your side up because of the security features of the game.

You and I will execute a Movement to Contact/Meeting Engagement.

You can expect to face Division Recon and the lead elements of a Motorized Rifle Regiment. I know these guys pretty good and should be able to deliver a good performance.

This is for training purposes only. I will provide clues as to why I do what I do. Some of those players are "easterners" and may be well versed in
WP doctrine.

Which slots do you have available? Questions?

I'll be up for some training games as well if anyone is interested. However, I only have the download version of the game, so it looks like any potential opponent must use the same.
