Just a quick note to let the team know that the Intelligence Forum is now Open for posting.

As I said, I would gladly do some intel work.

However, we also have to protect ourselves. I think operational issues - movement, reinforcements etc.- should be discussed in private as much as possible. Even on the long term, they are sensitive.

On the other hand, AARs and such lose their value quickly, we may handle them a lot more freer.

I second Pannonicus here.
Operational security leads to surprise and surprise is one of the most important factors in creating shock, which is the road to victory.

And talking about our victories (in the AARs) brakes the enemy's moral :P

I tend to disagree. do you think this forum is not secure? Has it been hacked? If you visit the Red Snow combat campaign forums you can see that the german team had all discussion, planning done there.

Keep in mind that the forums hold invaluable information and entertainment for the readers after this campaign is over!

DD your opinion?It is secure. This forum setup, like the Red Snow one is Admin granted specific access and not password protected. I have control over each user individually and can adjust that at any time. The only way it wouldn't be is if a player on your team was providing information to the other side, and the same for them. This is why, now that the teams are pretty well set, NO new players will be accepted/granted access to any secure area without team review and consent.

I have heard a comment or two that there was some external commo going on in the ICW Campaign where information was being passed along to another team however I cannot confirm that.

I installed the WG patch from Sharpnel forums (they said that it corrects some mistakes that appeared again in v2.5 by some mistake, so it seems like OFFICIAL patch), and I noticed that Leo2A1 has NO TI - until 1987 I think. So what about it, are WG going to have TI or not?

Hope with stick to the OOB... :)
