A lot of you have been wondering what happened to the CS material we used to have on the old Warfare HQ website. Let me explain our plan so that you guys know what is happening.

The main SZO website is now a bit more generalized in nature and doesn't have all the wargame-specific material that made WHQ so difficult to navigate. Instead of having all that material in sections on the main site, each one of the wargames we support (most of them anyway) will get a dedicated Game Site, which we refer to as "zones." Several of these are already up and running and the response from the community has been very good so far. To view the current list of active Game Sites, click on the link that says "Game Sites" at the extreme top of this page.

The Campaign Series Zone will be coming online later this week. I need a volunteer to hep run it. As you know, Krink already acts as moderator for this forum, runs tournaments, works with the ladder, etc. What we need is someone who loves the CS games and is interesting in keeping the Game Site updated. What would it entail?

Working with Krink to ensure the CS support here at SZO is as good as we can reasonably make it.
Html or webpage experience would be helpful, but it doesn't need to be extensive. We use an automated system to keep these websites updated that is really no more difficult to use than this forum. I'm looking for someone who plays and loves the CS games who wants to be an active member of the community. I'm not asking for anyone to kill themselves doing this as it is a volunteer effort. I would rather have someone who can go at a steady pace for a long period over someone who will be very active for 3 months, then suddenly drop out of sight.

These game sites do not need to be updated on a daily basis, so that is not what we are asking for. If this sounds like it might be fun, use this thread to reply or contact me using the PM feature. SZO already has a great team of volunteer staff members, and they work together and help each other all the time.

Had I the extra time, I'd be happy to volunteer. Unfortunately, at this point, it's not an option. Possibly in the future though!

I will still maintain a presence of tech support though!

Hope all is well!

Take care and good luck

I don't have the time to devote, but wouldn't mind being a part-time assistant to a person who does. I know html and most major graphics programs.
