But the questions are:
1) There are DVD adn CD versions, I wanted DVD version, but they do not have any more. Does it make a serious dent between the two? I right now hold on to the CD version but if DVD is really a buff, I will take the time to get one nevertheless.
2) Some say this game comes with the headset and mic ... but why I do not get any ? How can I get them?
3) If I have to buy those separately, how much should I spend on them? Good ones make sense or cheap ones will do?
4) What I just bought was a BF2 .... just that... is there any additional versions now? I mean, like expansion already or ... upgrades in any sense? Should I get those?
5) whatever else I should buy to get me looking serious like a BF guy?
6) Any good newbie training courses to take? :D

No difference, except for how many discs you get.

Only if you preordered you get the headset. It is a pretty bad headset...the mic is good but the headphones aren't very good (I like my 10 dollar radio shack ones better).

If you can get them for cheap, they are servicable.

No additional versions, but 2 patches have been released. Get the 1.02 patch....and when it refers to itself as 1.01 don't worry about it :D.

Hmmm....I don't know except for buying BF1942 (you could probably skip BF'nam).

You know what, the reason I loved the game immediately is because the model of the match in the game, it was exactly teh same team concept as in an old unix game called "Netrek" which was so popular and I was so much into it in grad. school. I do not know if you guys played that one before, but it rocked and this one is just like a 3D color remake of the original primitive game :)

Play SP to get the feel of the game and then hop into MP.

SP = singleplayer
MP = multiplayer

Single Player is SP and Multiplayer is MP. The bots are a good training tool, even though they have their weak-points (mainly team-killing).

I will learn the basic and improve the necessary, on SP.. but what I am really expecting is the team work in MP :)
