Wedge formation

Dear Captain

According to the FMs, the wedge formation can provide more firpower to one flank then to the other. In a mech company wedge, for example, the Bradleys can be placed either to the right or left. In a platoon wedge, one of the flanks can have one vehicle more than the other. Nevertheless it seems that in ATF the right flank of the wedge always has more firepower. Is there any way to switch flanks (e.g. wedge right and wedge left like the echelon formation)?

It is a limitation of ATF, that formations are filled from heaviest to lightest protection level. The benefit of this is that your best armor will always be on point. The drawback is that the two tank platoons will be on point and on the right side.

If you want to do this, I recommend not using company formations, but rather moving the company manually, with the platoons in formations but the company formation manually maintained.
