BF2 server patch - major flop

Severe memory leaks due to the new patch have been hurting performance....and boomtown says that EA will make a statement about this soon, discussing a couple options to fix the problem -

"1) Complete rollback to the previous version 1.0, however all users running version 1.01 are a big issue. EA doesn't know whether the patch can be rolled back. Maybe the game has to be re-installed...

2) Small fix to solve the memory leak problem"

Luckily, it seems there is a test of a new server-side patch tonight that is supposed to fix the memory leaks.

I didn't really notice any problems more than existed before....

And thats official! I can just see half of us running 1.00 and half running 1.01...as for me, I haven't seen any problems so if there are still servers serving up 1.01 I'm sticking with that...
