Briefing: According to intel reports the Rebels have been forced into a small area in the northern 1/2 of the island centered on Zone G. The time has come to end this Civil War and with the Rebels concentrated in one area there is no better time than now.

Mission: As your men approach from the east it might be wise to try and circle the town to close off any Rebel escape routes. Ultimately though the main objective is to clear the town in ZONE G AND eliminate all Rebel forces encountered.

Continued moving the troops toward town.Exchanged some fire, managed to supress some Rebels and ID some more positions near the mayors office. Set 120mm mortars for those targets.
The Rebels are so dead,lol.

The Rebels are so dead, lol. Can you cc me on the file you send to Dita every 3rd Turn? This will probably be the last battle of the Campaign (Dita commands the only Rebel forces not killed, captured or hiding in the forest  ) and I want to add a little AAR/End Campaign Report with screenshots to have once I open the forums up to the General Public.

Thanks.

Things are going really well,we lost a few men but mangaed to rout a number of Rebel squads,as well as the Rebel HQ. More Rebel positions were ID'ed for mortar targets.
All of the forces continue to move in toward the town. :smoke:

The advance continues. The Rebels are putting up abit of a fight in the southern town area. They managed to rout a couple squads and pin a couple more. I'm trying to slip four squads to the extreme south to attack from a different angle.
In the north and to the east of the town our advance is unimpeded. I almost destroyed the Red HQ,3 guys left, and one other rebel squad, three guys left. We almost lost a scout team, one guy left. Managed to rout a couple more rebel squads in the area.Once the northern company with rpg's is able to close on the town things should get real interesting.

No worries here, We exchanged fire again. Lost a few, killed a few. Moved closer to the town, like ants on a boar really. I can almost sense the rebel commanders hopeless situation.

The battle is going very well. We lost a support squad but killed off the Red HQ and a Rebel squad. Routed many more Rebel squads. The Rebels in the northern town are in a vice between the northern inf co w/ rpg support and other ground forces coming from the east w/bmp-r support.
Fortunately we outnumber the Rebels nicely here .It makes the job of removing them so much easier.

Things continue to go Pro Government in this one. We destroyed 3 Rebel squads and one SAM team. We lost a few men. I can see the Mayors office now just ahead. :cheeky:

This is in sharp contrast to the last time I was here against the same Rebel commander.Back on that day, they had the superior forces and I was getting crushed.

Sadly this game ended prematurely. I wont get to personally finish off every Rebel Squad. :( I routed many more Rebel squads on that last turn. :)
