Briefing: According to intel reports Pro-Government forces are massing to the east of town. With most of the remaining Rebel forces concentrated in this small area in the northern 1/2 of the island the situation is becoming critical.

Mission: Even though your forces are small it is imperative that you hold the town at all costs. At present their should be no interference by the United Nations in this area BUT you should know they are massing their forces in the nearby zones. Chances are very high that they will attack in te next few weeks if Pro-Government forces fail to seize the Zone.

I need someone to step up to do the deploy file for this battle, then I will need a commander to fight it. You will be defending against a Pro-Government attack.

Thanks for the patience, sorry once again.Understand. What I would like to happen is that this battle be the final one of the campaign. The Rebel forces are pretty much wiped out except what you command here.

Besides, as soon as this one ends the NATO vs WP Campaign can get into development high gear. :D

No activity for first two turns....

just some mortar fire (120nn and 60mm) ifI remember correctly. Fell well short/long. Sitting and waiting for the enemy to arrive.

Battle is raging now. Lost one squad, and my HQ unit is constantly under fire and in retreat.

Forces are to the East, south and North. South seems to be holding, along with the north, but the eastern side is under heavy and constant attack. One BMP and one BDRM spotted here.

Will try to hold the town for as long as possible!!!

Rebel forces will fight to the end. We know that we fight for honour and feedom in this, what I fear, will be out last fight!!

Thing not looking good. I am technically either dead or in hiding, as the HQ unit is "dispersed"

The south seems to be holding, but the centre is doomed!! Spotted some units going wide on the south and engaged. Units in the north clashed and the unit there in the holding position was destroyed. My feeble attempt to flank (with on platoon!) stumbled across an enemy unit, which appeared to be doing the same.

Overall, not good.

A marginal victory for the government forces.

Once the headquarters unit was goen, I new my forces were doomed.

Hopefully, with have inspired some youngsters to rally up in the future and fight the cause once again.....
