View Full Version : Monster scenarios
I've got an itch to play a good Monster game, so what are some good Monster scenarios?
Europe Aflame, Fall Grau, DNO, GIO, WitE, WitP, 1988 Global Conflict.
:D
Thanks Shane, another thing that I was wondering about is, are monster scenarios identifed by [HUGE] written by the name?

No. "Huge" merely indicates that the particular scenario has been editted in Opart 300.

Wow. I am flattered to be included with Europe Aflame, Fall Grau, DNO, GIO, WitE, WitP. Thanks Mantis :)

...and who said size doesn't matter!
Europe Aflame, 1988 Global Conflict, The Great War 1914-1918 and Alternative World War II are my favourite monster scenarios. I recomend you to look into all of them.

You know it! :D
Still dying to play through it myself, but I need to finish thumping (or getting thumped by) a few opponents prior to starting any new games.

Nobody I've ever met... :whist:
OK thanks for the info guys.

Or, certainly in my case, that the designer himself is a chubby old soul.

And a chubby old soul was he,
He called for his pipe
And he called for his bowl
And he called for TOAW volume III

Hi John:
Do you have Vol I, Vol II, or ACOW?
I had a similar problem. If the latter, you need to upgrade to V.1.04 None of the "mod" scenarios, Europe Aflame, etc. would be recognized by the program without this update, even though you placed the file in the scenario directory.
If you have the Century of Warfare CD, I found Ver 1.04 on the same CD-ROM as a Zip File you unzip into the program directory. Or there are many sites with downloads. Try:
http://www.warfarehq.com/index.php?page=toaw/toaw_news.php
it also has patches for Vol I and Vol II.

I just saw your message but I guess you already figured it out.
As a matter of fact I had started this scenario years ago using TOAW I and it evolved into TOAW II version and finally ACOW. It was very interesting to see how the unit ratings changed for each version.
BTW I'd be very interested in any feedback (positive or negative) you guys may have. I have a couple of requests for updates and corrections but I have refrained from doing so until I get more feedback.
One of the things I was considering was to split the scenario in two: one covering Europe/Middle East and one Asia/Pacific that can be played together or separately (there are many reasons why one may or may not want to do that).
What do you think? is it a bad or a good idea??
