Good sims

I need a list of some good sims in each category

Modern air combat:
WW2 air combat:

Naval combat:

Air Combat: USAF (Jane's Simulations game) The graphics are outdated, but you're still playing Ocarina of Time, so you're used to it. Everything else is realistic, like getting knocked out for pullin too many G's. Solid game.

You might have to be a bit more specific on what you are looking for from a naval sim i.e. time period.

Harpoon has done well for the modern era. Whether it be paper rules, Harpoon Classic, or Harpoon3 version. But the graphics and user interfaces may be limited.

Another simulation you could consider is Dangerous Waters.

I also like Action Stations for WWII naval gunnery action. Silent Hunter III is getting rave reviews for WWII U-Boat action.

Perhaps you could describe what YOU consider to be good points in a simulation.

For WWII Air Combat, I like European Air War, lots of mods and graphics on the net. It's a little dated now but with all the downloadable stuff I still like it.

WW2: Sturmovick 2, Forgotten Battles
Modern air combat : USAAF was a good game, I dont know about more recent games
Tank sims... only played "Panzer Elite"
Naval... Harpoon rules, perhaps Harpoon 3

Steel Beasts Gold.

Best modern Tank Sim on the market IMHO. Steel Beasts 2 is out now or coming soon too with updated graphics. Google it . You'll find it.

Panzer Elite is likely no longer "cutting edge", but I don't think anyone has found the time and or urge to bring the market anything better yet.

You pretty much have to go modern tank sim to get anything with newer programming tech.
