Hi all,
I've loaded a new H3 scen to WHQ archives. It uses Paul Bridges Colonial Database v1.4 and deals with 24 hours at the hight of the Cuban Missile Crisis in October 1962. Thanks to Paul and Herman for Database support and testing.
The scenario is playable from Cuba and US sides (with non-playing USSR side present as well). US side should be played first and Nuclear option must be on.
The challenge for the US side is to carry out Recon missions over Cuba to determine the location and readiness of Soviet medium Range Ballistic Missiles. Additionally, Soviet ships suspected of carrying such missiles must be intercepted by the US Navy and escorted away from Cuba. A bit of an unusual scen as escalation into nuclear war must be avoided!
Played from the Cuban side you must defend Cuban airspace against US intrusions. The overriding mission here is to defend the airbases and other facilities against US air attacks.
