Does Robert E. Lee (and the other Army commanders) help units rally? I'm playing CP now, surprised to see Lee has a command of B, leadership of C. I guess he was still finding his groove!

Yes, any leader can help rally troops. I guess I hadn't noticed his "rally level". Probably the reason he is rated so low is that he hadn't really made his mark with the army at that point. He was still held with suspicion after the loss of West Virginia.

I'd imagine that if (when?) the Wilderness comes out, he'll have the full A for leadership.

On the other hand, as memory serves (without opening it), McClellan is E-A, so he can't command, but he can rally

That's the peninsula alright . . . Granny Lee versus the rally monkey!

So for Lee, if he is stacked or adjacent to a routed unit, we get:

Unit Morale: D,E,F Die Roll to Rally: 1-3
Unit Morale: C Die Roll to Rally: 1-4
Unit Morale: B Die Roll to Rally: 1-5 (no leader effect)
Unit Morale: A Die Roll to Rally: 1-6 (no leader effect)

Is that right?
