Just a note to announce that I’ve just posted my latest creation in the archive:
http://www.warfarehq.com/archives/showthread.php?p=1402#post1402
It’s a sequel to my “Germany 1945” scenario.
This makes a total of nine different subjects I’ve simulated for TOAW, in a total of 16 different scenarios:
Campaign For North Africa 1940-43
Next War 1979
Killer Angels 1863
Cambrai 1917
France 1944
Waterloo 1815
Okinawa 1945
Germany 1945
Soviet Union 1941
Time for a break!

Thanks for the great games Bob. :)
I am playing CFNA right now and have played Killer Angels and France 44 in the past.
Keep up the good work.
But enjoy your break! :cheeky:
Yes I second that. A friend and I are having a great game of cfna at the moment.

Well if anyone fancies a Game of Soviet Union 1941 let me know.
Dabbling around Solitaire with this right now and it is certainly innovative in the way it handles Soviet manpower replacements and Factory Evacuations.
It's mid July and the Axis have taken Riga, Minsk and Odessa and are also seriously threatning the Murmansk rail line.
However the PO is somewhat blunt in operation which I think is precluding them from advancing faster.
There again a more measured advance means less tired out units so...
As the Soviets I am getting loads of draftees each turn which then must be disbanded for distribution to the combat units.
If you lose a city then obviously you have lost those recruits.
As for the factories you have to decide when is the right moment to evacuate. So far I have judged well except at Odessa which went under sooner than I expected!
I am trying to put together lines that will hold once attacked, yet balance that factor against trading space for time that would allow the Axis units too easy a ride. So far so good but it's early days yet.
The scale is manageable with Corps/Armies being the base of operations.
Wouldn't mind playing the Axis in this but would play Soviets if wanted. :)
That sounds quite intriguing. I would be interested in giving it a go. Drop me a line.
