It took me a year to get reliable access to a computer and the internet, but finally got it. And now...it's time for some TOAW!

Looks like everyone's still around; lots of changes I see with the ACG/SZO! Good deal!

My schedule isn't like it used to be, but if there's anyone who still has a saved game from where we left off a year ago; or who wants to start something new, let me know.

Anyway, was at Al Asad, then Al Taqaddum for the past 10 months. They didn't have TOAW there, so it really sucked. The MRE's were really good though, a major improvement over the dehydrated pork patties we had in the 80's.

Not there now, so - I had to trade my MRE's in to be able to get access to play TOAW.

So...who's up for a game?!

Hey Viridomaros!

Sure - I will need to get the file from you; feel free to start and if you like we can do a mirror like we did before - but one after the next?

Thanks and good to have another game with you!

Welcome back! My offensives have bogged down in Poland and require all my attention, otherwise I'd be tempted to tempt you with the ultimate temptation, GiO! I think I've got a temp(t)er! :cheeky:

Hey Dick,

GIO, huh? Well, if you're up for it, I'm game too. I'll be a bit slower than I used to be. If you're up for a game, just let me know...open to either side. If you can't let me know though; I'm good for only 2-3 games at a time.

Viridomaros, too -- Best to e-mail me: yazidee AT aol.com --

Take it easy...

Welcome back to the... "zone"

I was thinking about we continue our CFNA but now i remember you gave me your password when you letf...
At this time i have some games running (EA included) and i'm afraid i would be even slower than you... so no more games for me right now.

But i'm really glad to know you're OK

Tiberius & I took your Braunschweig game till T23 or T24 - currently stalled - no hope for the Axis taking Baku. Of course we don't know how the Russians are going to do given the bug and no northern deployment areas left - which is a shame because large tank armies are so much fun

Welcome back mate. I have missed being mercilessly destroyed in GiO. I'm guessing your full up already, but if not I wouldnt mind another of those :)

I'll have to pass on the GiO at the moment, with the tournament games I have more than I can handle... But I am making a note of Heinz and Raver being GiO freaks, I'll know where to ask for a game another day... :)

Dunno if I'm a GiO freak, but I had a hankering for it recently. I think once a new version of fire in the east comes out I will switch back to that though.

Ah, never tried fire in the east, but only heard great things about it. Is the latest version bugged?

Raver
18 May 05, 18:25
Dunno. I played the previous version and decided that I thought it was fundamentally unbalanced in the Germans favour, and that I would have another go at it when balance was a bit better. The last version didnt look to me like it was going to fix that, so I thought I would wait for the next version.

Apart from balance, though, it is a damn fine game and I'm just itching to play it again.

Hey Jason, Matt, and Jaio, too! Good to see ya!

Well, Jason - GIO...ha, sure, we can give that a go, what side do you want?

Between that, revised Kharkov with Pierre...and if I could find anyone to either side on Wintergewitter...I'd be all set!

Let's see what happens!

Hello Heinz.
Wellcome back.
I still have our game of Fall Grau. Do you remember your password and is your email adress unchanged. I will be ready to restart in a few weeks time, if you are still game.

Hmm. I got swamped with offers as soon as I posted that. Perhaps I could still do a slow game with me as the russians?

Hi Raver & Rasmus,

Okay...a slow game of GIO with Raver as Soviets.
Rasmus, I'm up to continuing Fall Grau where we left off. Good to hear from you!
Viridomaros - got your turn 1, will play tonight and have it to you tomorrow.

Still got room for 1 game of Wintergewitter, either side, any takers?

hehe... reading between the lines on my last post, this really means that all of my other games will now also become "slow games".
