Just downloaded and installed SPMBT v3.01. Problem is that the screens are to large for my 17" monitor. Is there any way that I can shrink the screens outside the game so that the screens will fit on my monitor?

Hi,

Just wait one more week in order to install the WinSPMBT.

You will have the option to play FULL or Windowed mode and the resolution will go up to 1600 x 1280.

cheers

Is there any way that I can shrink the screens outside the game so that the screens will fit on my monitor?I've never seen this happen. I have it on a PC with a 19" and a laptop with a 15" and it fits to the screen on both. It cannot be resized (windowed) but it fills the entire screen with no overhangs. Does it help if you zoom in or out at all to where it might fit better? :D

You never really know,

The day before yesterday was 2-3 days, Yesterday it was 1+ weeks, Today is sooner, Tomorrow it may be later...

It is the last minute small issues that need to be fixed... before everything is ready... but for sure the game is 99% ready.

It is just that 1% that still resists the attack...

If you have buttons on the front of your monitor and on screen display, try going into the game, and adjust the height and width of the game screen. It should not effect how your desktop looks.

OK thanks guys, so far nothing has worked the screens remain oversized. I've gone into the properties menu and have the game set to operate within a window, but, the game still goes to full screen mode. I've tried to reduece the map width within the preferances menu...it has no effect. I've even tried going into the control panel to set the screen to 1027x927, that has no effect. I guess that I will have to ask SP Camo. Thanks anyway guys.

You might find an answer on the Yahoo forums for either SPMBT or SPWW2.

I didn't see where you mentioned it earlier BUT what OS are you using?

Never happened on my Win98 rigs.My guess is a windows update messed something up (just a guess though). Reason I say that is there seems to be several issues popping up for people who had it running on XP wihtout problem, then one day somethings goes wierd. I know mine worked for a long time then all of a sudden it started crashing about 3 weeks ago whenever I used the SPCAP to take a screen shot. This week after another windows update the SPCAP utility works fine without crashing my laptop.

Well fortunately I can still play SPMBT DD, it's just half the buttons are off the screen. They will still work, but, I have to blindly put the mouse over a button then watch the text at the top left to see what that button does. Just annoying is all I guess.
