.
I am doing scenario dumps my "XP Home version" machine. Using a program from VMWARE to create a virtual machine, this let me load Win98 and COW to do the file dumps there. Then use the virtual network to send it over to XP.
Microsoft has something similar - PC Disk ??- But it requires XP professional.
VMWARE costs more but will work on the XP Home version. AND you can download the program and try it out for 30 days.
http://www.vmware.com/
I really do not have the time to test the program is great detail, BUT have learned the hard way that you do not add external display drivers to win 98 on the Virtual machine.
Then I read the documentation.
I know it works for what I wanted to use it for, and maybe it will for others.
