Ah, man. The screenshots look so good than BF1942/BF Vietnam and the game look the same from Desert Combat Mod, but probably alot more better than DC and I am really looking forward to get this game after getting new Computer. The game probably release in sometime Summer 2005.

I had a thread about this already, but yeah I can't wait for it either.

Commander mode?
Commander mode?
Yeah, one person on the team can go into a birds-eye view of the battlefield, and issue orders to his teammates and their squads...excellent for clan matches and stuff.

I agree it's great for clan matches, but I can't really see it coming in to play on a free server. What if some shmoe has a great sniping spot, and the commander orders him to move out? What if the commander orders a tanker to drive through the middle of a field, when he knows he's completely exposed to the enemy? I think on a regular server, either the players are gonna smart up, or the commander slot will be kept empty...I'd much rather be in the thick of things, than issuing orders while no one is listening.

It worked fairly well in Savage which did this a couple of years ago. Even if the other players don't follow perfectly, it increases the amount of intel they have which does influence things.
