What does the players think of the sound graphics for the infantry, aircraft, movement, and firing of weapons?

What does the players think of the sound graphics for the infantry, aircraft, movement, and firing of weapons?Since I spend so much time playing with the editor I don't hear the sounds much. They seem OK to me but I will try to listen harder while Dita and Skirmisher are schooling me in our current PBeM battles. :o :o

Is CAMO group going to be changing any of these for the windows version?

I think they are trying a new MP3 format, though I am far from sure. I worked on quite a few of the effects. Most of the small arms, tracked movement, and assisted with the background loop. I don't like the foot movement sound myself. To me, it sounds like a bunch of drunk GI's falling down stairs with buckets tied to their waists. LOL. I alway just copy the foot movement sound from SPWW2 into SPMBT.

Any idea if there wil be new graphics? I think the ones there now are first rate BUT would like to see if they can get better moving into a windows environment.

All I know is what they said on the SPCAMO site here:

"We'd like to announce that there will not be any further work done on the DOS based SPWW2 or SPMBT games but that the next versions of both games will be fully windows based. WinSPMBT is scheduled to release in the Spring 2005 and WinSPWW2 will be released later in 2005. There will be many additions to both games including new terrain and game systems plus the ability to play the game in full screen or windowed mode in all screen resolutions from 640x480 up to1600x1200. An added "zoom in" level has been built into the game for resolutions above 640x480. More details will be announced in the future."
