I think I was using WinRAR to try and open it. Gotta find a copy of WinZip.

Thanks for the help, and thanks for the ideas everyone, but I got WinZip 9. Unzipped, installed, and played. How old is this game? Because the graphics and interfaces seem really outdated? But I like the gameplay, are there any games like it, with updated graphics etc.?

Don't ask. :D SP in its various versions has been around since the mid 90's, maybe earlier. SPWAW is built upon Steel Panthers 3 and has undergone significant facelifts BUT there is only so much that can be done to it as old as the game engine itself is.

If I were you I would also get the H2H Mod and install a 2nd copy of SPWAW if you have the HD space. SPWAW is nice BUT IMHO, H2H is the best variant.
