Has anyone had problems with the Screen Capture Utility that comes with SPMBT? For some reason when I use it on my laptop it crashes the game. It still takes the screenshot BUT then crashes the game. :o

What other programs work for taking SPMBT screenshots?

Try WinGrab

I can give it to you if you want it - it's a freeware program.

BTW, you never did answer me - do you remember the medic for D Co, 2/68 AR? For some reason, I remember loading on your tank for TT10, but I'm a bit hazy!

Hello Double-D. So far no my SPCap has not crashed.
I have been getting crashes with MBT for infantry combat situations. Just before the animation runs. This has forced me to decide to do other things because the crash is unavoidable. My opp has report the same.
On to your question. My system has had so many different versions of video drivers installed that despite not getting the corruption of the desktop after playing SPMBT I can safely say that I no longer no what I would have to do to keep it this way if I were to re-install my OS!
As a precaution I have my SPCap utility set to run on Win98 compatibility. I ran into the trouble of my SPCap program being in too deep a folder/subfolder thread prior to the custom compatibility setting. So far it works. There is also the memory requirement. Despite being run from a DOS prompt maybe a memory setting change on the program needs expanding.
Lastly, do you have the keyboard screen shot key set to be used by any other program. [My Hypersnap does that once in awhile].

Cool tip.
Just got it.
By the way.
Do you know of any image cuter freeware program.
I am looking for a program I once saw way back that takes an image file and cuts it up into smaller image files so a webpage can be generated quickly and without having to cut'n'paste out to the RAM limit.

Well, the Archives aren't working, or are sickeningly slow, so here is a link to WinGrab (http://www.pangracs.com/Stuff/WinGrab.zip)

CurtSorry bout that, thought I answered it in another thread. Yeah I remember you but since that was over 20year or so ago I am also fuzzy on the details. I was trying to remember some other people you might have known (other than Sgt Nail). I was there over 4 years so it all tends to run together. I know people who were there, left, came back and I was still there. I only left after they made me PCS back to the states. :D

Could be, I will do some more testing. It works fine on my PC, its just the laptop giving me issues.

Not that I am aware. Brand new laptop all SP versions are fresh installs.

It means in the US Army "Permanent Change of Station". Basically I was stationd in Germany then transferred back to the US. CPangracs and I were stationed together at Baumholder, West Germany in the early/mid 80's.

Yeah, it all starts running together. I have some B&W's I snapped and developed/printed myself from one of our Deployments to Daun, I believe. Remember when we camo'd our vehicles with the lime and brooms, then had to repaint many of the vehicles?! Let me know if you want them and I'll scan them and send them to you - a couple shots of the good old M60A3's and our train ride.

Sounds good. I am working on my personal website to get some of my military pics up there but so far my wife has kept me out to put up family stuff. Since our familes are 700 miles away in different directions this is the best way for them to see the kids. :hush:
