I'm seriously considering buying into this series, BUT:

I'd like some opinions, are they all good? Repetetive? My prime interest is in the East Front, so these get first priority, but looking for opinions!

East Front:

There's Smolensk '41, Kharkov '42, Rzhev '42, Kursk '43, and Korsun '44. I have all but Smolensk. They each have their own distinctive flavor if you will. My favorite out of these is Kursk, though I think when I get Smolensk it may take the top spot.

West Front:

There's France '40, Sicily '43, Normandy '44, Market Garden '44, and Bulge '44. I have France, Sicily, and Normandy. All good games. Again, they are each unique in how they play.

N. Africa

There's Tobruk '41 and El Alamein '42. Lots of fun, you gotta really watch your supply situation on the longer scenarios and CG's.

Any PzC game you buy, you can't go wrong. They all give the feel of the battle portrayed pretty well. At least according to the histories I've read of them.

Don't forget the Modern Campaigns games. There's a juicy campaign that combines Fulda Gap '85 and North German Plain '85. You run it on the NGP CD. I'm in the middle of a PBEM match right now, and I gotta tell you, I can't wait til the next turn arrives in my inbox!

Go ahead and get you a couple - there's plenty of guys here ready to PBEM. Games against the AI aren't too shabby either. Almost forgot, there's very powerful editors to create your own scenarios. Easy to work with too.

To recap

Smolensk: Fluid summer campaign large map lots of trees.

Kharkov: Summer, Large more give and take giving both sides the opportunity to attack and defend. A lot of user made scenarios for this one too.

Kursk: Summer Big kind of a meat grinder. Much less fluid as the Germans attempt to pry a dug in determined foe from his positions.

Rhzev: Winter & summer campaigns. Storms! Also more of a toe to toe slugfest but in my opinion more variety to the fighting then Kursk.

Korsun: Germans out numberd and surrounded. German OOB allows the German units to break down to company size units to help cover ground. Ferry units to cross full hex rivers. Mud & snow making the going pretty slow.

That the short and quick of it. Pick your poisen. They are all good in their own way and it just kind of depends on what type of battle you prefer to fight. Mobile, static, attrition, summer winter etc. :D
