View Full Version : One Slot free on SPMBT...Any takers..?
Looking for an opponent for SPMBT. Not fussed about era etc, that can be discussed. Slot 01 is free. Would like this to be a ladder game ideally, but a friendly first game sounds good. Seemed to have played alot of games, but not got any of them registered, for one reason or another.
look forward to meeting on the battlefield soon

Any side, era, etc is good with me.

Dita,
I'll sign up for the ladder here (as soon as I figure out how),
and we can begin to enter results in after these two games we are working on are over.

Ladder Menu" (at the far right of the forums just over the display ad. Click the drop down arrow and then select "Join/Leave a Ladder". Check those ladders you wish to join and then click the "Click to Confirm" button.

One thing I don't see is a page showing the current ladder structure. :surprise:Go the same link BUT select the 1st option "WARS Control Center LCC", then scoll all the way to the bottom. There you can go to all the current ladders by score, ranking and latest game reports. There are also some nice search menus above that. SHORTCUT HERE! (http://www.war-forums.com/forums/wfhq-ladder-main.php#report) :D

I`ve sent the files over. Just a "standard" UK vs Soviet 1985. 4000 points, no air. The map may be a little on the large side. I`m not very good a determining map size vs force size. :)
Any problems, let me know.

You know, if nothing else I would hope that CAMO Group increases the number of available Secure PBeM slots in both SPMBT and SPWW2.

Yes that would be nice.
I saw your remarks in another post about SPMBT being campaign lite, your right theres only 2 campaigns there. Funny to,because the structure of SPMBT campaigns is really large being as they dont have to be one scenerio after another in nature.
I'd like to work on one,but I'm afraid to when the game is constantly changing like SPMBT is. I have it in my mind to wait until they put out the new windows version before I get into any heavy scenerio/campaign editing.
That was always a major problem with SPWAW,for awhile there years back they were working on a new version every month it seemed.
concening Combat Leader - After visiting the Matrix website recently I saw some screenshots of the game and editor. Fantastic artwork compared to what we are used to. It looks like it might get released relativly soon. As I have been following development for some 5 years now, they seem to be finally into the testing phases of it. I lament over the limited years and countries availible in the initial release but it should still be entertaining to any Steel Panthers fan.
I to have thought about scenario/campaign design, but decided to wait until the windows version. Got a few ideas, but never really got them of the ground.
Combat leader I`ve followed since it was first announced (how long ago was that...??!). I remember reading the first few posts and getting reeealy excited about it (which I still am). It it lives up to the promise, it will be an excellent game (or should that be simulation?)
