but I feel the need to get another campaign game with more under 20 turn scenarios with infantry action.

Which one should I get????

I answered CP, but I'm not entirely sure on that (because I haven't seen it yet.)

to give you an idea of what's out there

Campaign Ozark: Smaller scenarios, but still the majority of them are over the 20 turn mark. Also, a much higher ratio of cav to infantry than you will see in most of the other games.

Campaign Corinth: Lots of infantry, and some good action there. Just not sure how many under 20 turn scenarios there are for you there.

Campaign Franklin: The Spring Hill scenarios may be more or less in the length range you are looking for, but Franklin is somewhat longer, and Nashville is longer still.

While I don't know how many 20 turns or less scns there will be in CP, there will be a host of 1 Day scenarios in there, which should be well playable.

Brent,

If smaller, shorter scenarios are what you are looking for, then Ozark is the game you want. I just ran down the list and the vast majority are in the 30 turn or less range.

Peninsula has a few shorter scenarios, but most are much longer.

With that I must say this though. Just because a scenario is 144 turns doesn't mean you have to play it to the end. Many times that value is placed there to allow players the flexability to choose the length they want. Some people want to maeunver more, others want to just slug it out quick and dirtly like. :dead:

For me, Peninsula is of far more interest, but I have, and like them all.

With all of the commanders killed and wounded at Franklin, it should give you plenty of options.

I'm leaning towards Ozark for the breadth of battles involved. It seems to have a really wide range of campaigns and a good number of true (as opposed to what if) battles.

But ... a new release is so tempting!

Hey,

Sorry, just saw this. :cheeky:

Can't give you a deal that good, but for the clubs I am authoirized to sell games at a 40% discount when 5 or more are bought at once. Basically you get 5 games for the price of 3. E-mail me if you want details.

However if you don't want that many, or don't know someone to go in with, then you might want to check out NWS, as they have all the games cheap:
