I supposed the enemy,s main attack would come through the right side of the valley. On both sides of the valley i placed a mechanized infantry platoon, dragon and fireteams dismounted in the woods. On the right side of the valley a minefield was placed to be reinforced by FASCAM to force the enemy to move on the road. One Abrams platoon was placed to the left of Bihac together with the HMMWV platoon to protect the flank. One platoon of Abrams was placed behind Bihac. The last Abrams platoon and a MECHANIZED infantryplatoon were in front of Bihac, the fireteams in OBJ.READING.
The main attack did come from the right side of the valley along the road. The enemy column had to run the the gauntlet of fires by the Dragon teams and TOW fires from the Bradleys and suffered heavily. The enemy then tried to move through the woods which seemed to cause him problems. To make his advance more difficult i fired a FASCAM barrage and covered it by smoke.I also poste a reception committee of Bradleys and one Abrams that killed anything to came out of the woods.
There was also a weak attack from the left of Bihac which was easily stopped by a Abrams platoon.
The most dangerous attack came from behind Bihac and was stopped at the edge obj Reading by 2 Abrams platoons which lost heavily.Another atack was stopped more easily without losses.
Most of my losses were caused by the enemy artillery which killed my mortars, disorganized my artillery and killed a few Bradleys.
The enemy lost 36 BMP,10 T80,17 BRDM,6 mortars,4 ACE,6 Hind,3 125 mm towed qnd 1 DRT team.I lost 1 HMMWV ,6 Bradley,1 FDC,1 fist,1 120 mm platoon,4 Dragon teams,6 Abrams and 1 SP.
