The video games industry in the UK is looking healthy but could do with more government support, according to a report by analysts Screen Digest.

No I don't - because they will either insist on more control and we'll get given a load of rubbish, or it'll have international ramifications. If (for example) the US Government feels that the US games industry is being threatened by an increasingly subsidised foreign industry, things could get nasty...

Yep, I'm more concerned with your governments grip upon the industry. Censorship.... :(
Could kill your whole gaming experience.
The British government will not support the arts in what ever form the manifest themsleves. Britian has become culturally defunct.
They might put some money into games due to the revenue they create but I doubt it.

I want foreign game markets here though. Then you get companies like Ubisoft and some of those Russian game companies that are putting out a few gems here and there.
