Scott Grasse had aprogram that ran with SPCAMO SPWW2.
The exe file had fields that you could enter and then receive an output file that suggested force type and assets. You could even set it to points involved and mission type: Assault/Defend, Meeting, Advance/Delay.

I've been searching and searching but cannot seem to connect ... does anyone have any ideas where they might be found?

danstudentvccNothing I have seen BUT then I haven't followed the CAMO Group as closely as the Matrix Group (SPWAW).

Hello Double D.
The really wonderful thing about the program is that it is useable with either WAW or WW2.
The SPWAW game has the file on unit formation in WW2 by Scott Grasse for just about every Army.
The program however would make it easier for new players to decide what a good starting point for a battle in a particular year would be.
I will kepp hunting.

Hello Gen E.
I was lucky to find one other of his many addresses on the internet a few nights ago.
Unluckily, I was not able to find the program itself.
I even went by the Wargamer - to no avail.

I will try other locations. Thanks for the help.

Wow!
You can't imagine how much that has made my evening.
I nearly rolled over and went back to sleep rather than come by to pick up turns and messages and read the daily posts!:surprise:
I would like to thank my wargaming genome for this award and of course Double D for making Campaigns standard fare here at WHQ and of course the 60 opponents I've squared off against over the years who have taught me that anything is better than solitaire!

etc ...

Thanks agains.
Yeah, I tried to get it the other day after reading a response from a SPWAW aficionado at the SPWAW Depot. [I couldn't seem to log on so I put it off and didn't succeed in finding it at The Blitz.
I will try again this is good news since this reduces the need to go online or to the library to find out what formations were composed of on a certain date and time and battle if any.

I don't navigate too successfully as you can see.
Actually that is the main page if you first select the forums after you enter the site .. then you get the file archive's external link for the other SP files in the top right corner.

My mistake.
