Hi, i stumbled on a site with some BF42 Mods;

Welcome to the Official Website of Who Dares Wins, a mod of the Electronic Arts game Battlefield 1942. This mod is about post-Vietnam special operations.
Special Operations Forces to be included in release 0.1 are the US Delta Force and Task Force 160 helicopter unit (the Night Stalkers), the Green Berets, the British Special Air Service (SAS) and the Australian Special Air Service Regiment (SASR). Opposition forces include the Taliban, Iraqi Army/Fedayeen (Desert Storm & Iraqi Freedom) and Somali militia. In 0.15, we will add units such as the Marine Corps Force Recon and Russian Alfa CT unit, and many more maps in places like Bosnia and the Falkland Islands.
looks like a decent mob, although they seem new and the mods might not be up to scratch yet, i am downloading ATM so i'll keep you informed.
They also have a 1861 mod, :hmmm: dunno how they get around that style of warfare. Might be interesting, if cavalry mounts, ironclads etc are in it.
My bro has about half a dozen other mods for the game, maybe more, i can get a complete list if anyones interested.
