:) Just purchased Gettysburg by HPS. This is my first HPS game, but it will not be the last. After reading about this game in the forums I just could not take it anymore. :laugh:

I am a huge Civil War fan and play many games on the subject, both computer and board. I have 5 of the 7 games in the Great Campaigns of the American Civil War (GCACW) series, The Civil War by Victory Games, plus Talonsofts Antietam, and the Sid Meir collection. I can occasionally be found playing on VASSAL.

Welcome Sir! I'm sure you will enjoy the titles...and while we have a small group now, I'm sure it will be growing.

Also, we'll gradually be adding in support for the Talonsoft games as well.

I just bought my copy of Gettysburg and it should be here with in a week. I cant wait to get into it and start learning it and playing some PBEM with you guys.

Fun game... just got mine this week and been enjoying the hell out of it.

I'd also recommend take command 1861: bull run. Another one that is quite immersive and the price at $20 makes it more than worth the price.

I agree with you on Bull Run as well. Such an innovative game and a lot of fun.

Just started trying to mod the thing.

They have a nice tutorial up with step by step instructions. Modding can take a long arse time... :crosseye: Still, it's kind of fun being able to make your own scenarios.
