I just downloaded the SPWAW and have never played before and was wondering if anyone of you veterens could give a rookie any advice on where to start and how to get acoustomed to the game.

The tutorials are pretty good at showing the basics. After that, when you click on a scenario; it will tell you whether it is a small, med. or large one. Start with the small ones and work up. I enjoy the campaigns, and then there is also the 'battle' button. This lets you pick a generic battle with whichever sides you like. There should be an addiction warning with this game. :)

If you enjoy the game at all, it is well worth the money to pick up some of the mega campaigns.

And you dont have to have the latest greatest PC to run it on....
