Anyone else having problems with build 210? I began experimenting with the latest beta build last night and encountered one fatal error and a couple of odd issues. I sent the email below to Scott this morning. Will post any response I receive.

I have attached a save game file with a reproducible C++ error. On clicking the End Turn button, a C++ error is generated and the game freezes.

I don't know if this is related but I am seeing odd behavior with the TOWs in this scenario. While the ATGMs will now fire, they never seem to hit anything nor are their entries ever removed from the force tree.
Please let me know if I can provide any additional information.

Thanks,
Mike

Hit another bug this morning. I sent the following email to Scott. Is anyone else having this amount of trouble with this latest patch, or am I just lucky :(

I encountered another apparent bug in the latest beta build. After the completion of the combat resolution phase on Turn 3, the Staff Officer screens stopped working. When I try to open a staff officer screen ,either by using a function key or through a menu pick, I receive the following error:
Grid Index out of range

The game can continue to be played but the staff officer screens remain unusable. I have attached a saved game file which displays this problem.

Thanks,
Mike

I haven't had much time to play the game but I did send an email about the pre-made scenarios being mixed up. Games that should start from turn 1 starting as a free-setup version, and secenario 4 has 2 free setups.

Also Mike get used to it, usually when Scott adds or changes something we will go through 2 or 3 more beta's to iron out new bugs. There really is no other testers other than us here in the forums. So anything added or changed may have had some testing along with some AI vs AI games but that is about it.

RegardsSo the process hasn't evolved much since POA2 was first released :cheeky:

Not only have I accepted the fact that the participants here are the beta testers for this game, I actually enjoy it. The ability to some direct or indirect influence on the evolution of this game is something that shouldn't be undervalued.

Thanks,
Mike
