map scroll problem

Hello

This may be an old question, but I am new to this series of games. I enjoy them very much, but I get frustrated when I try to scroll the map up or the the left. The screen repeats itself and I have to click on the reference map on the lower right to correct it.

This is not a problem with the down and right scroll.

HELP!!!

Which game and which OS do you have? If it's ACOW, you might try downloading the 1.06 version- available here- that fixes some known problems with Windows XP.

1. Do you have the latest patch for WOTY? Available from www.talonsoft.com.

2. Try searching the forums here or at The Blitz to see if anyone else has had this problem with WOTY. Maybe scroll(ing) as keyword.

3. You might consider upgrading to ACOW. There are a lot of (good) changes since WOTY.

I think at the end of the day you might find it to be an issue with the graphics set up on your machine as opposed to a WOTY issue- do you have this problem with any other software? In this regard you might want to more generally search the net for help.

I was able to correct the problem with a video card driver update.
