Howdy!

Just wanted to leave a quick note

I'm currently PBEMing a full 160-turn game of Fulda Gap and I'm having a great time playing it. If there's one area where the PzC and MC games "win" over the TOAW engine is in the way the game can maintain a great degree of fluidity of movement and yet still have enough obstacles (both literaly and figuratively) that can make you stop cold and force you to seek another route.

I'm not trying to set a "TOAW vs. PzC/MC" thread at all (I play Koger's game since 1998 and I'm still learning new things about it) but there's just something about these Tiller games that mixes in the right proportions the "fun-factor" and the intelectual challenge. TOAW has that challenge too, but more often than not you just feel you're in a grinder and attrition is the only way to win a scenario (allow some room for this wargamer subjectivity, guys).

Bottom line: I'm having great fun playing these games (I'm just about to begin the full Smolensk '41 scenario :cheeky:) and I just wanted to share it.

Now I know this isn't the proper forum section, but since there's really no section for it, and since so many "HPSers" hang around here, here's my cunningly disguised question :cheeky: : will there be a new Napoleonic Campaign game? And it the answer is yes, what's the subject?

Cheers!

Yes - there is new Nappy Title(s) in the works - not sure exactly when the next one will be along but likely this spring. I am afraid I can't discuss the titles.

That's great news! It would be even better if the focus of the game was on the Jena Campaign.

I guess I'll have to save some more money, then!
