What is a VCF card for and why do some aliases not have them ..

It is an option to display a vcard, which is just a standard format for electroinc business/contact cards.

From your profile...

Allow vCard Download
You may choose to allow other users to download a vCard containing your email address and username.
If you want to keep your email address private, do not allow vCard downloads.

I get it.

I was wondering what it was since I could not always get every computer to open one up. At home my Office XP program had no trouble opening it.

Now I know.

I was wondering what it was since I could not always get every computer to open one up. At home my Office XP program had no trouble opening it.I think XP opens it because it is a feature of MS Outlook. SInce it recognizes the format it can open it without prompting for what program to use, etc.
